I guess adopting a cat can seem like a big deal if you’ve never done it before. Except that all of the sudden, I felt like it was something that I wanted to do. I made two separate trips to the shelter to make sure that I adopted a cat that I connected with. Though in hindsight it seems as if I had little choice in the matter.
